Wellbeing matters.

Basic hygiene looks like providing soap, sanitary pads, antibacterial sprays and wipes. But wellbeing in the contexts we work in looks like restoring dignity to those living in subhuman conditions, people who have lost more than just their homes but likely family members as well.

We are raising funds to donate ”Care Kits” to women refugees in Albania, Kurdistan-Iraq and Kosovo. They are $100/kit, and it includes a sponsored haircut performed by a local hairdresser.

The kit includes the following items:

Sanitary pads - soap - shampoo - face lotion - comb - lip balm - manicure set - tweezers - pocket mirror - tooth brush - tooth paste - lipstick - hand sanitiser and wipes.

We want to support women who would have fled from ISIS or the Taliban to regain a sense of self-worth, which is why we are going beyond meeting basic female hygiene needs by offering them 1) simple beauty products as well as 2) donor-sponsored haircuts done by local hairdressers or salons.

We have intentionally connected with local business owners in order to support the local economy. Our local representatives also offer business trainings and mentorship to those who are wanting to grow their business. This is an incredible way to sow into the women’s wellbeing, as well as supporting the surrounding business community.

To sponsor “Care Kits” and haircuts, you may opt for a one-off or recurring donation of USD $100/month.
